Increase in number of tourists in July in Konavle Region follows the general trend in the first seven months of this year.
In July, Konavle Tourist Board recorded the 14% rise in tourist arrivals, and the 12% rise in number of nights. The share of hotels is predominant with 64%, followed by 33% in private accommodation and 3% in camps in Konavle Region.
Private accommodation is on the rise by 15% in the number of nights. The most represented tourists traditionally come from Great Britain, followed by Russia, France, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and Spain.
When compared to last year, in the first seven months the number of tourist arrivals rose by 11% which caused the increase in number of nights by 15%. Konavle Tourist Board hopes the positive trend will continue in the months to come.
