After a great season on Dubrovnik Summer Festival, and the extraordinary play Kafetarija (La bottega del caffe), actor from Dubrovnik Nikša Butijer, has another reason to celebrate this autumn.
Nikša is a part of the team which created the amazing movie ‘Quit Staring at My Plate’ (Ne gledaj mi u pijat), directed by Hana Jušić, which won the prestigious Fedeora award for Best European Film in the program ‘Venice Days’ (Giornate degli autori) at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival!
Movie speaks about extreme family relationships and about what happens when a family is losing comfortable, normal life. Leading role, Marijana, is played by Mia Petričević, dominant father Lazo is Zlatko Burić, non caring mother Vjera is Arijana Čulina, and Nikša plays the disabled brother.
