During this weekend Dubrovnik will host up to 35 thousand young people who will gather at a Croatian Catholic Youth Meeting. Motto of the biggest Croatian Catholic meeting so far is “For you were called to freedom”.
Gathering of young Catholics will be followed by various different events and activities, intended for all ages. The most special events will be the presentation of John Paul II relics in the cathedral, and the exhibition named “Pope in Dubrovnik”.
The main celebration of the Eucharist will be on Saturday in the port Gruz, exactly the same place where the Pope Blessed John Paul II served his mass 11 years ago.
