Created for directors, actors and cinematographers, the festival takes place on Lopud from 22 to 27 June. Renowned filmmakers from all over the world will share their knowledge and experience with young creative talents from the regional film industry. Multiple Oscar winners Frances McDormand and Joel Coen will deliver masterclasses in acting and directing, whereas Peter Spears, Brian Swardstrom, Monika Lenczewska, Nanu Segal, Juho Kuosmanen, Pawel Pawlikowski, Michel Franco, Lili Horvát, Philippe Bober, Cristi Puiu, Danis Tanović and Ognjen Glavonić will be lecturers and moderators. Special gourmet events organised by Gault&Millau Croatia contribute to the Festival’s exclusive program, featuring award-winning chefs from the G&M Croatia community – Marijo Curić, Vesna Miletić, Deni Srdoč and Branimir Tomašić, who will prepare delicious dinners for the participants and other guests at local restaurants.
The Ponta Lopud Gourmet programme provides guests with a unique opportunity to taste some of the most exciting dishes of the Croatian cuisine. The renowned visiting chefs and the chefs of local restaurants will combine the best products from the sea and the land and prepare four hands dinners. Modern versions of traditional dishes with Mediterranean flavours will be served with selected wines from the south of Dalmatia, particularly the Komarna vineyards. An unforgettable gastronomic experience at the restaurants located on the seafront will add to the magic of film viewing under the stars on the beach of the RMH Lopud Lafodia, Resort & Wellness.
A special welcome dinner for the guests of the Ponta Lopud Festival will be prepared by Marijo Curić, chef of the Restaurant 360 in Dubrovnik (G&M Croatia Trophy for the best restaurant in 2021 and 2022 and Michelin*) and will be served with wines from Saints Hills winery.
Dinners in Lopud restaurants
Each night a different chef will prepare the dinner in local restaurants. The price of the dinner (five to six courses) paired with wines is 750 kn. Tables can be booked through the website of each restaurant.

Daily boat line connects Dubrovnik (Port of Gruž) with the island of Lopud several times a day. For the duration of the Festival an additional boat transfer will be added.
The boat Argosy will depart at 6 pm from Port Gruž and back from Lopud to Gruž at midnight. The ride lasts about an hour. Join us for an unforgettable trip to the world of film and local cuisine on this magical island.
