Two years after tragedy on the Italian cruiser Costa Concordia its successor Costa Diadema, meanwhile worth more than half a billion euros, arrived to Dubrovnik yesterday with more than 4188 passengers. This was the first cruise ship of the company Costa Crociere, after Costa Concordia sank near the Italian island Gigli, in January 2012 taking more than 30 passengers with it that day.
That is why Costa Diadema attracted a lot of attention last Friday at its official presentation in Trieste. Apart from Costa Diadema, two more cruisers visited Dubrovnik this week – Costa Celebration and AidaAura. Together they brought slightly more than seven thousand guests with them. It was also the last crowded day in the southern Croatia, at least when it comes to cruisers.
Naturally, our team used the opportunity to peek into the Costa Diadema. We have few pictures of this ship’s luxury interior for you as a proof. Enjoy the photos.
