The group which owns most of Dubrovnik’s top hotels, Adriatic Luxury Hotels, celebrated another successful year at the Hotel Excelsior last night. The Luksic family (owners of ALH) held their traditional Christmas party for partners and friends and used the opportunity to announce that 2013 would see the 100th birthday celebrations of the luxury Excelsior Hotel.
Delicious canapes prepared by the hotel’s talented chefs were served alongside fine Croatian wines with guests ranging from employees and partners to politicians and members of the local press. Live music added to the atmosphere and each guest received a symbolic sweet box gift.
Many famous stars have stayed at the Excelsior over the years including Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Che Guevara and Queen Elizabeth II.
