“African Sting” Richard Bona and Alfredo Rodríguez Trio joined by the Croatian Radio and Television Jazz Orchestra Live in Front of the Cathedral

If you are a passionate jazz lover or simply someone who enjoys good music then you certainly wouldn’t want to miss the concert on Tuesday, July 20, in front of the Dubrovnik Cathedral at 9.30 p.m. by the Cameroon-born American jazz star Richard Bona along with Cuban pianist and composer Alfredo Rodríguez, drummer Ludwig Afonso and the Croatian Radio and Television Jazz Orchestra under the baton of maestro Miron Hauser.

Having won numerous awards, done collaborations and projects alongside the biggest names in the music world, such as John Legend, George Benson, Chaka Khan, Branford Marsalis, Pat Metheny and Bobby McFerrin, Richar Bona is undoubtedly one of the top bassists in the world today. But he is also a beloved regular at local Croatian jazz festivals and this year, for the first time ever, the Dubrovnik audience will have the pleasure of enjoying his bright and electrifying Afro-Cuban rhythms. With his close friends and colleagues, esteemed Cuban musicians Alfredo Rodríguez and Ludwig Afonso they will share the stage with the Croatian Radio and Television Jazz Orchestra under the masterful baton of maestro Miron Hauser and surely provide everyone present an experience to remember.
