Australian Consul Shakespear Visits Dubrovnik-Neretva County

Consul for International Cooperation Luka Vidak received the Consul and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Australia, Mr. Philip Shakespear, and the employee of the Embassy for Public Diplomacy, Ms. Dijana Grahovac. During the meeting they discussed the economic, cultural, geographical, and natural features of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, as well as the traditionally good and friendly relations between the Republic of Croatia and Australia alongside possible cooperation in tourism promotion, education and exchange through cultural and other programs. Consul emphasized the positive growing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Australia is a stable, democratic, and culturally diverse country with a highly skilled workforce, and one of the strongest economies in the world. It is the sixth largest country in the world in terms of land mass and the only nation that independently manages the entire continent. The Australian Embassy in Zagreb is accredited for Croatia and Kosovo.
