A little baby boy was eager to make his entrance in the world in the early hours of this morning. The baby’s mother was being transferred by military helicopter to KBC Split hospital from Korcula island when the baby boy arrived at 4 30 am.
The call to the emergency services was made by staff at the Clinic on Korcula at 3 01 am. The boy’s 36 year old mother gave birth just prior to the helicopter landing in Split. Both mother and child were transferred to the maternity ward of the hospital.
