After the immense storm hit the Dubrovnik area Tuesday night, the summer heat seemingly started to calm down. However, according to the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service (DHMZ), a new heat wave is on the horizon. A heat-health warning has been issued for our county as the Dubrovnik region is set to boil from August 9 to August 11. You are, therefore, advised to be careful and not spend time in the sun from 10 am to 5 pm unless it is truly necessary.
