Dubrovnik’s popularity with the silver screen is ever growing, with hit series such as Game of Thrones wrapping two series in the City and now Bollywood wants to come to Dubrovnik!
Friday saw Dubrovnik mayor Andro Vlahusic meet with representatives of Indian production company FOX Star Studios to discuss the filming of their new project in the City this May. The company’s new project will be a take on the Hollywood film ‘Knight and Day’, starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
Mayor Vlahusic assured his guests that all of the City’s resources would be made available to the production team who are expected to be in the City for around 50 days. The Bollywood film industry is the largest in the world and according to the City Council, around 30 million people are expected to see the film set in Dubrovnik- a great advert for our beautiful City!
