Following the success of HBO’s Game of Thrones and its return to Dubrovnik as a filming location this summer, the city seems to be be becoming a top location for producers. If you were walking past the Nautika Restaurant on Thursday you may have noticed a crowd of people gathered outside. Locals entinced by the idea of a few minutes on of fame on the silver screen headed in to town to audition as extras for the Borgia series which will begin filming in Dubrovnik in the New Year.
The production crew are looking for between 500 and 1000 extras, in particular men aged 25 to 70. If you missed the chance yesterday, don’t worry, casting is taking place today as well from 11 am.
