According to eVisitor, about a thousand guests stayed in Dubrovnik during the Easter holiday weekend, despite the pandemic. Most tourists were from Croatia, Germany, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, USA, Switzerland, Ukraine, Serbia, and Spain. Out of a total of 995 overnight stays, 655 were realized in hotel accommodation, 212 in private and the remaining in other forms of accommodation.

Currently, there are 12 hotels open in the City of Dubrovnik and international air traffic has been re-established with flights twice a week – Iberia from Madrid and Lufthansa from Munich, while EasyJet flights from Geneva are planned to be established soon as well.

As part of Dubrovnik’s Easter promotion, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board organized free City tours in Croatian and English for all Dubrovnik visitors. In cooperation with the popular Dubrovnik influencer Dora Predojević, they also held a contest on her Instagram profile, followed by 68 thousand people, in which the grand prize was precisely the Easter weekend stay in Dubrovnik. Among 700 applicants, two lucky winners got to enjoy three nights with breakfast at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel and a two three-day Dubrovnik Cards curtesy of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels in cooperation with the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.

During the Easter holidays, more than 36,000 arrivals and about 140,000 overnight stays were made in Croatia, most of which were released by domestic tourists, while foreign guests realized about 12,000 arrivals and 75,000 overnight stays.
