Café Bar and Restaurant Terraces Re-Open in Dubrovnik Starting Next Week

The Civil Protection Headquarters of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County made the decision to allow café bar and restaurant terraces on the wider Dubrovnik area to re-open. The area includes the City of Dubrovnik and the municipalities of Janjina, Ston, Dubrovnik Littoral, Župa Dubrovačka and Konavle, while the ban remains in force for the Neretva Valley, as well as the municipalities of Orebić, Trpanj and local self-government units on the island of Korčula.

The decision was made in accordance with the recommendation of the Public Health Institute of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and after meetings with the heads of local self-government units. The measures will take effect on Monday, April 12, and last until Sunday, April 25, when they will be reconsidered given the epidemiological situation in which we will then find ourselves.

Although the rest of Croatia re-opened café bar and restaurant terraces on April 1, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County decided to keep them closed until now due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases.
