For 15 consecutive years the first Saturday in September has been the day reserved for meeting of Dalmatian vocal groups (klapa) in Cavtat, called ‘Na me pogled tvoj obrati’. This year was no exception, so last weekend the lifting voices of eight klapas echoed throughout the beautiful ambience of the Villa Banac.
Klapa Subrenum (Dubrovnik), female klapa FA Lindo (Dubrovnik), Ostro (Konavle) Dingac (Peljesac), female klapa Fortuna (Dubrovnik), Staglin (Salt), Klampanel (Zagreb) and Ragusavecchia (Cavtat) performed in front of delighted audience.
The Tourist Board of Konavle and klapa Ragusavecchia organized this meeting of traditional Dalmatian vocal ensembles; part of the money gathered from sold tickets will be donated to charity.
