Chill out on the beach!

Sea samples from a 106 beaches in the County comply with the standards of the Directive on sea quality fit for swimming.

Between July 24 and August 7, Public Health Centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva County undertook the 6th regular sea water testing and the results proved the sea quality at a 102 beaches to be excellent.

Sea quality at the beaches of Polače on Mljet Island and Ploče Estuary is of good quality, and the results for Hotel Bon Repos Beach and Prigradica Beach on Korčula Island are fair.

After the last week’s short-term pollution at Hotel Grand Beach on Lopud Island, more samples were taken on August 1, 2 and 7; the results comply with the Directive as well so that the sea quality is excellent again.
