‘Conde Nast Traveler’, the prestigious American travel magazine, has included Dubrovnik and its surrounds in the top 10 most desirable European travel destinations in 2021, according to the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in the USA, Ina Rodin.
In the article “Top 10 best places to visit in Europe in 2021”, Croatia placed ninth on the most attractive destinations for the upcoming year list. The city of Dubrovnik, besides being wildly popular amongst the Game of Thrones series fans in the recent years, presents a great starting point for a proper adventure.
The gorgeous Elaphite islands of Koločep, Šipan and Lopud are described as carefree and easily reachable, with Lopud being especially prominent as a town with a beautiful Franciscan monastery from the 15th century, unique stone houses and exotic gardens.
In addition to ‘Conde Nast Traveler’, the renowned American portal ‘Travel Pulse’ has included Croatia in the list of 20 countries to which American citizens can travel freely this winter, with of course the presentation of a negative corona virus test.
