Every year entering mid-November, the unshakeable feeling of the upcoming Christmas holidays starts to sneak up on us all. Even though many of our fellow citizens still haven’t put their summer clothes away, the Old Town has slowly started to dress up in holiday clothing. Traditional Christmas decorations have been installed all over the City, and a look at the beautiful holiday lighting instantly lifts your spirit. Although the times are still uncertain, the beginning of the Dubrovnik Winter Festival is on the horizon and should start soon if the circumstances allow it.
We can only hope that the spirit of Christmas sheds some light on the not so bright times behind us and fills us with that warm and festive feeling that we associate with the most beautiful part of the year.
