The Croatian National Tourist Board, together with 10 Croatian co-exhibitors, is representing the Croatian National Tourist Board offer at one of the world’s largest tourism fairs, the World Travel Market (WTM). This year the popular event is being held in London, and for the first time in its 40-year old history, it is being held in the online form.
The fair will last from November 9 to November 11, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to cover all time zones and participants that will communicate via virtual platforms, conferences, workshops, and seminars.
“Despite all the challenges, Croatia was once again one of the most popular tourist destinations this year and has shown it can be the leader in innovation and development offers that represent the future of tourism. In line with the new trends, we have focused on online promotion, creative solutions and services adapted to current circumstances ” said the Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac.
During the fair, the Croatian delegation, led by director of the Croatian Tourist Board Kristijan Staničić, will hold virtual meetings with representatives of the most important partners such as TUI UK, easyJet, SAGA, Jet2.com/Jet2 Holidays, Thomas Cook, British Airways, TravelZoo, TourRadar and others.
“It is important that, despite the current situation and travel restrictions, Croatia maintains a presence in our important emitting markets and tells everyone that we are a safe, well prepared and quality tourist destination,” director Staničić added.
Alongside the basic package that includes the promotion of the tourist offer on a virtual stand and publication promotional content on the WTM website, the Croatian National Tourist Board will further its visibility position via Premium Deluxe package through WTM social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, banners on the WTM website, as well as through advertising through sponsored email addresses visitors. During business meetings, the WTM Virtual platform will provide the ability to share business cards, documentation, presentations, and other content necessary for the best possible success meeting. The virtual presentation of Croatia will be additionally accompanied by parts of the promotional “Discover The Colors of Croatia” campaign, which is already being implemented in the most important European markets and will last until mid-November.
With the Croatian National Tourist Board as the main exhibitor, numerous co-exhibitors such as Adriatic Luxury Hotels, Association of Small and Family Hotels (OMH), Croatia Airlines, Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Zagreb Tourist Board, Maistra Hospitality Group, Valamar Riviera d.d., Perfecta Travel, Plitvice Lakes and Uniline DM, will also ensure their visibility through the HTZ’s virtual stand.
