“No later than December 1, all Croatian citizens will be able to travel to the United States without visas. This is the end of a long journey of negotiations and evaluations, but above all the continuation and strengthening of the strategic partnership of our countries,” said the Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović. Croatia has officially entered the Visa Exemption Program and became the 40th member of the Visa Waiver program, which allows Croats to enter the United States without a visa for tourist and business reasons.
“We welcome the decision of the United States Department of Homeland Security to include Croatia in the Visa Waiver Program. Croatian citizens who will be able to travel to the United States without visas will benefit the most. By realizing this foreign policy priority, we will further strengthen the ties between Croatia and the United States,” Prime Minister Andrej Plenković pointed out.
