Dubrovnik’s main street will be closed on March 9th, until March 13th, and no one will be able to take a walk from 4 p.m. till 4 a.m. in the morning. Some of the shops will be closed during that period. As we found out, sellers got some compensation for closing for seven days. For non-working days, they will earn around 20.000 kuna which is much more than they make for the entire month! Are they satisfied and will they keep the star Wars secret? Yes, they will! Even people who live upstairs in building will get their part of the cake. They all received a contract and they promised (with a signature) that they won’t record ‘scene behind the scenes’. Around 100 owners of the apartment received checks for being discrete… Why? Because production teams are keeping the right of reproduction in ‘any media now known or will be designed in the future, forever and throughout the universe’, without any additional charge.
