Details About the Strong Earthquake That Shook Dubrovnik Last Night

Depth of Only 5 Kilometers, With a Magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter Scale

According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre the epicenter of the earthquake felt last night @ 11:08pm in Dubrovnik was in Bosnia and Herzegovina at a depth of only 5 kilometers and with a magnitude of 6.1.

‘Seismologists from the Seismological Service of the Republic of Croatia recorded a devastating earthquake near Ljubinje in BiH. The magnitude of the earthquake was 6.1 on the Richter scale, and the intensity at the epicenter was of the VIII degree EMS. The earthquake was felt throughout the Republic of Croatia. We do not have a report on the damage yet‘, they stated.

The epicenter of the quake was 45 kilometers southeast of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and 16 kilometers east of the nearby city of Stolac, almost 100 kilometers from Dubrovnik.
