Administrative office for urban planning, construction and environment protection warns that the sea in front of Hotel Grand has been polluted by sewage waters.
According to Public Health Institute of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, analysis results of sea samples taken on July 30, 2012 exceed limits for microbiological parameter of Escherichia coli. The further analysis of the samples is still under way.
Sampling will continue till the pollution is gone. The Environment protection inspection has been informed as well as all other relevant institutions. Until further notification, swimming is not recommended at the beach in front of Hotel Grand.
