Do you have items in your home that you no longer need or use, but which are too good to throw away? Someone else could use them! Instead of letting these items collect dust in your closet, donate them to a charitable cause.
The Dubrovnik Foreign Circle invites all residents of the Dubrovnik area to participate in our next charitable event. Donate your gently used household items in good condition, including clothing, kitchen items, small appliances, furniture, toys, and decorative items for our annual Second Hand Sale.
Proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Ward of the Dubrovnik Hospital, for purchasing electronic inhalers for children with asthma, as well as to the special needs program at Marin Drzic elementary school, to purchase equipment for children with speech impediments. Please bring your donation of household items to the Lazareti Art Workshop above Banje beach on:
- Wednesday, September 30
- Thursday, October 1
- Friday, October 2 from 10:00 to 18:00
All donated items must be clean and in usable condition. Items can be picked up at your home, on Sept. 30 or Oct 1 ONLY by making an appointment in advance. To make an appointment for pick up, please call 091- 303-5535. The sale itself will be held Oct. 3 and 4 at Lazareti, and is open to the public. Sales are cash only.
Since 2009, the Dubrovnik Foreign Circle has been supporting the welfare of the wider Dubrovnik community through a variety of social and humanitarian events throughout the year. Club members come from nations around the world but have chosen to make Dubrovnik their home.
