Du Motion: Special Traffic Regulation This Weekend

The fourth edition of the sports and recreation event Du Motion – Runners’ Days Dubrovnik will be held on 28 and 29 April 2018. The two-day event once again offers a program that features the popular Dubrovnik Half Marathon, the challenging City Walls Race, a 5K Charity Race and a Children’s Race, alongside the Du Motion Expo and other accompanying events.

On Saturday, April 28, Dubrovnik City Walls are closed from 8 to 12am during the ‘Run the Wall’ race.

On Sunday, April 29, during the Dubrovnik polumaraton race and the charity 5K race special traffic regulation will be estabilshed from 9am to 2pm. Regulation applies to these roads:

Iza Grada, Brsalje, Branitelja Dubrovnika, Put od Republike, Vukovarska, Dr. Ante Starčevića, Nikole Tesle, Obala Stjepana Radića, Obala Ivana Pavla II, state road D420 (Solska baza – Sustjepan), road 6254 (Sustjepan – Prijevor and vice versa).

Alternative roads:

D8 Komolac – Dubrovnik, D223 Brgat – Dubac – Dubrovnik, D3 Dubrovnik – Split
Lozica – Nova Mokošica – via Dr. Franjo Tuđman Bridge – Pera Bakića street

Please respect the instructions and be patient in order to make this international sporting event a safer and more dignified environment.

The past three years of the Du Motion event have attracted runners from over 50 countries and this most international Croatian running event is set to reaffirm its status if the numerous queries to date from abroad serve as any indication. Dubrovnik attracts many running and racing enthusiasts with its excellent atmosphere, interesting panoramic routes that pass through the Old City and along the Dubrovnik coast, as well as a variety of racing packages that guarantee a great time and getting to know all of the beautiful parts of the city.
