Dubrovnik Airport accepted and dispatched a total of 117,715 passengers this April, significantly more than in April last year (with only 8,094 passengers). In April 2020 the airport was closed due to a pandemic and infection of employees, reports Croatian Aviation.
Although there is a significant increase in the number of passengers, this is just over half of the total number of the passengers from the time before the global pandemic. In April 2019, Dubrovnik Airport accepted and dispatched a total of 210,803 passengers.
The numbers in Dubrovnik will grow significantly this summer and will surely exceed one million passengers this year. Last year, Dubrovnik Airport had a total of 927,934 passengers, and most of the traffic was realized in the peak of the summer season – from July to September.
