Since last Friday Dubrovnik has a direct flight to Nice. It is the 10th international destination with which Dubrovnik has a direct link now. By the end of the summer season, aeroplane from Dubrovnik to Nice will fly twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays.
‘The last direct flight from Dubrovnik to Nice was in 1990’, said deputy director of Dubrovnik Airport Frano Luetic and added:
‘This flight is crucial for us because it connects two touristic pearls of the Mediterranean.’, said Luetic. He pointed out that this season will be worse than expected.
‘It will be a result of the political crisis in Russia and Ukraine. We lost few flights, and now we have only a fly to Moscow. But we have more flight to the EU’, he concluded.
