One of the nicest parts of Christmas can be a school’s nativity play. For those who don’t have a child starring in a show this year, there was chance to still enjoy the festive tradition in Dubrovnik’s Old Town this weekend with an outdoor nativity. Children and adults (and even animals) took part in the play for the large crowds gathered to see the Christmas story told in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Old Town.
Dubrovnik’s Bishop Uzinic joined the celebration, welcoming the crowd in front of St.Blaise’s Church. The traditional event is organised every year by the Dubrovnik Diocese, Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the City of Dubrovnik. Take a look at our photo gallery to see the magical play.
