A Restored bottle of wine used back in 18th century in the Dubrovnik Republic was presented yesterday to the Dubrovnik media. Ivo Oreskovic, co-owner of the winery Karaman, presented the bottle.
‘This is a private property of Veselic family, from Konavle. This type of bottle was produced between 1690 and 1720 in England, but it was used in Dubrovnik’ explained Oreskovic and added that the ultimate goal is to produce a replica of the bottle for sweet dessert wine Malvasia, as an exclusive product of Dubrovnik.
