Dubrovnik Republic from the 14th century has been restored

Actors from TV series have again occupied Dubrovnik. This time it was the center of the city that was in front of the lenses, and it was during the filming of the Dubrovnik Republic. This series follows the events of the Republic from the 14th to the 19th century. It is the new work of Domagoj Buric, also known after two extremely successful documentary projects – Crazy Roman emperors and Croatian kings.
The final part of the filming captures the most elaborate scenes recorded in front of the Rector’s Palace, one of the symbols of the immense power Dubrovnik held during its history.
Over the past year, parts of the documentary were recorded in Turkey, Ireland and Spain. The new sequences have been made in the City itself. Editing follows, after which all these parts will be united in a story that truly depicts the most glorious part of the history of Dubrovnik. It is this period that makes people of Dubrovnik proud of their city. The broadcast of the series was announced for December this year.
