Lovers of engineering headed to Gospino Polje in Dubrovnik yesterday for RoboCup Dubrovnik 2014, to show off their knowledge of robotics.
This interesting but difficult discipline brought together around 30 teams who demonstrated their robots. Apart from the exhibition, there was also a robotic joust, (known as an Alka in Croatia), where robots competed against each other much as knights used to do on horseback.
Hosted by the Community of Technical culture of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the event was deemed a great success.
