During the last weekend of this year’s Dubrovnik Winter Festival various programmes are offered to locals and visitors of our lovely town – entertainment with live music, programmes for the youngest, gastronomical offer, facilities in the Lapad Bay, the North Side Park in Luža and the Bursa Theater.
Oon Friday, January 4th, expect a great evening on two locations – local DJs start their programme @9 pm on Gundulić square, while at the same time the Dubrovnik Acoustic Session will be performed on Brsalje (Pile entrance to the Old Town).
The ending evening of the ‘Colorful Winter Programme in Lapad’ will take place on Saturday, January 5, and the grand finale will be the concert of two young Dubrovnik bands, Nianse and Sugarfree, who will perform in Lapad from 1 pm, after ‘Zagi’s event’ with magicians, animators and jugglers.
In the Bursa Theater on the 5th and 6th of January, the Drama Studio of the Young Hvar performs the program ‘Wisdom Tales’ directed by Jure Radnić.
The ‘North Station’ in Luža continues to work during the winter – the playground is open to children during the winter holidays, and there will be interesting interactive programs, creative workshops, etc.
On Saturday, January 5, Trio Laus sings around the Old Town, starting @ Brsalje – Pile Gate @ 9 pm, bringing a good atmosphere throughout the city, across Stradun, to Gundulić square.
Please note, until Sunday, January 6, 2019. local city buses run free of charge on all lines in city traffic (including lines 26, 28 and 35) from 5 pm until the last departure, as well as the special XMAS BUS on their route. And kids’ favorite XMAS Train runs through Uvala Lapad until January 6th and until that date there is an open ice rink in Lapad.
