Easyjet have announced six new routes from Scotland’s Edinburgh Airport. Dubrovnik Airport is one of the six along with Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, Reykjavik and Copenhagen.
The fact that Jet2.com already fly from Edinburgh to Dubrovnik signals the City’s growth as a destination.
The company consulted VisitScotland and Marketing Edinburgh regarding possible new routes. The route from Edinburgh to Dubrovnik will begin on April 27th. Easyjet’s head of Scotland, Hugh Aitken said, “I’m confident our new 2013 schedule will really appeal to people travelling to and from Scotland both on business and for leisure and will further bolster Edinburgh’s world famous appeal for tourists.”
