After last year when it hosted the elite at the Formula Windsurfing World Championships, Viganj, on the Peljesac peninsula, will once again host a championship – this time the European Championship in windsurfing.
Registrations are still ongoing, and more than 60 participants are registered so far. The last year’s World Champion Casper Bouman and Enrico Marotti – this year’s European champion in slalom, will show up at the Championship.
Organizers of the event are Club Sea sports Bofor from Viganj in cooperation with Sports associations Peliska sails from Orebic.
Start of the first race will be tomorrow at 2 pm. The contest ends on Sunday, after proclamation of winners and distribution of medals.
