European political crème de la crème in Croatia Summit

Arm yourselves with patience because for the next two days we are expecting numerous dignitaries and guests.

Croatia Summit is taking place in Dubrovnik on July 6 and 7. Police department of Dubrovnik – Neretva County in co-operation with the Police inspectorate will enforce security measures for the event.

The Police announce that they will take into account to regulate traffic on these dates with as little jams as possible and to influence other activities and events in the city in the smallest possible way.

– In case of traffic jams, we ask the citizens for their understanding and patience and want to stress the importance of following the instructions of police officers, says the Police.
The host of Croatia Summit 2012 – State building and the EU experience is the Croatian government. Croatian Prime minister, Mr Zoran Milanović, and President, Mr Ivo Josipović, will open the summit on Friday afternoon.

Beside Croatian political elite, President Josipović, Prime minister Milanović, and the Minister of foreign and European affairs, Mrs Vesna Pusić, other summit participants include Albanian Prime minister Sali Beriša, Kosovan Prime minister Hashim Thaci, Hungarian Prime minister Viktor Orban, Polish Prime minister Donald Tusk, Bulgarian Prime minister Bojko Borisov, Montenegrin Prime minister Igor Lukšić, Romanian Prime minister Victor Ponta, Slovakian Prime minister Robert Fico and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Serbia has not confirmed its participation at the summit yet.

The conference will discuss current politics, security and economy as well as the aspects and possibilities of creating a stable and prosperous future for the countries of Europe’s southern neighbourhood.
