EXCELLENT NEWS! Delta Air Lines is Introducing Direct Flights from New York to Dubrovnik

Delta Air Lines is launching its first direct line between Dubrovnik and New York (JFK) this summer. The award-winning American airline will fly directly to Dubrovnik four times a week starting July 3, 2021. Flights to Croatia will take place in cooperation with their European partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.

“Croatia was the first European country to open its borders to American citizens. We are excited to do business in this new European market and look forward to welcoming Delta Air Lines new customers,” said Joe Esposito, Delta Air Lines Senior Vice President.

“We are happy and proud that Delta, one of the world’s best airlines, is introducing this direct route from New York-JFK to Dubrovnik. This line will significantly contribute to encouraging the return of our American visitors to Dubrovnik,” said Frano Luetic, CEO of Dubrovnik Airport.

Delta will operate its new route to Dubrovnik with a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with a capacity of 226 seats, with the service of fully flat Delta One beds, Delta Comfort + and Main Cabin services, and many relaxing activities.

The United States has a strong connection to Croatia and is home to a large community of Croats with about 1.2 million people living in cities across the United States, including New York, and now Croatia is more connected with the USA than ever before.

Delta is one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines. Based in Atlanta, prior to COVID-19, it received up to 200 million passengers each year, transporting them via a leading global network of up to 300 destinations in more than 50 countries.
