Dubrovnik Aquathlon, first one, will be held next Sunday, on October 2nd at 5 pm.
Contestants will start the aquathlon at the attractive old harbour of Dubrovnik, from where they’ll be running all the way to ‘Sveti Jakov’ neighborhood with the really special background – Dubrovnik sunset. From 2 pm (same day) contestants will be able to pick up the numbers for participation in Lazareti, and a transition zone will be opened from 4.30 to 4.50 pm. The end of the race is planned around 6.30 pm.
This polyvalent experience includes:
Swimming – 1000 meters (any style, any pace)
Running to Sveti Jakov and back – 5000 meters (any pace)
The idea of the first aquathlon is to be a part of it, not just win. Most of the contestants are amateur runners and recreatives, so this aquathlon is quite easy.
