According to ‘Forbes’, the most influential American magazine, Dubrovnik is included in the top 20 best European destinations for Americans in terms of living, work and investments, the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in the USA, Ina Rodin, reports.
The good quality of life, adequate health care system, fast internet connection, proximity to the airport and low crime rate were the criteria upon which the European Best Destination (EBD) organization singled out the 20 most attractive destinations for Americans.
The article points out that Dubrovnik nurtures strong and simple values focused on hospitality, respect, sincerity, and authenticity. They note it to be one of the most beautiful European destinations for unique weddings and wedding ceremonies, while Cavtat, located nearby, is highlighted as an example of good practice in sustainable tourism.
