Despite the still ongoing unfortunate world heath situation, at 3 pm today the people counter at Pile gate showed that the number of people, who have been enjoying the city since this morning, was nearly 6 thousand. And although that number is nowhere near last year’s numbers, we cannot help but feel optimistic.
The mingling at Pile gate, taxis rushing, minibuses waiting and tour guides gathering their groups to explore the Old Town, were already hinting the ambiance inside the walls. Our town has woken up. Local people as well as their guests took advantage of this fresh yet beautiful summer day to take a stroll down the most beautiful street in the world. We are keeping our fingers crosses this atmosphere continues.
