France tour operators face adventure tourism offer in Dubrovnik-Neretva County

From 27th to 29th of November, travel agencies which offer adventure tourism, better known as Dubrovnik Outdoor, organized a study tour for four representatives of French tour operators in cooperation with Croatian Chamber County Dubrovnik. These visitors have expressed interest in learning about supply and potential of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County in adventure tourism.
Accompanied by members of the cluster, and after tasting award-winning wines, French guests visited the vineyards of Peljesac, walked along the Napoleon roads, visited the Walls of Ston. After all those attractions they were shown the traditional way of olive
oil production.
Despite the rain they explored our offer while cycling, going down a zip-line and balancing on a 6 meter height towards the tree house, revealing antigravity on spin roller where usually pilots and astronauts receive their training. They also visited horses, old mills and ethnographic collection of Konavli.
Offer at the sea was presented graphically and through personal meetings with suppliers of kayaking and diving. But their visit was fully complete only after the genuine
gastronomic experience – our guests tasted traditional dishes of the County.
Presentation of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County aims to increase the visit of French tourist who are looking for an active holiday in a distant place. Dubrovnik and its charms proved they deserve to join on ‘French map’.
