To mark the 10th anniversary of broadcasting the first Game of Thrones episode, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board organizes a free Game of Thrones tour in English and Croatian, on Saturday, the April 17, at 10 a.m. in front of the Tourist Information office at the Pile gate. The number of participants is limited due to the epidemiological measures, making it necessary to confirm arrival by Friday, April 16, until 5 p.m.
Being one of the main hosts in the filming of the most watched HBO series ever since 2011 to 2018, Dubrovnik played the role of King’s Landing, the capital of seven kingdoms, one of the most important locations in the series. The scenes filmed here brought invaluable world promotion to both the City and Croatia. Spectacular Dubrovnik scenes were and still are recognized around the world by both fans and numerous foreign media that have written about the beauties of Dubrovnik.
