The Dubrovnik Tourist Board organizes a free themed tour of the city, named ‘Maritime Dubrovnik’. This programme, dedicated to seafaring, will be held every Wednesday from 9.30 am until 12.30 pm. Programme starts in front of the Tourist Information Centre Pile.
During the free tour (held in Croatian) visitors and fellow citizens will have the opportunity to hear a little more about the Republic of Dubrovnik, which built its survival, fame and wealth on seafaring, on the points built in domestic shipyards and the goods that were transported and sold on these ships throughout the Mediterranean, along the coasts of Western Europe, all the way to India on to the east.
