Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiquities will join the event ‘Museum Night 2015’ this year.
On Friday, the 30th of January, from 6 pm to 11 pm, it will be possible to visit the attractive archaeological site and the museum of archaeological findings, of the old cannon foundry dating from the 16th
century. They are located in the tower Gornji ugao.
This late medieval and modern foundry is one of the few surviving buildings of its kind and accommodation within the city walls makes it unique without a comparative example in Europe. Furthermore, the Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiquities will contribute to Festivity of St. Blaise (2nd to 8th February) with free tours of the city walls, Ston walls and Sokol city in Konavli to all visitors.
