While thousands people from all around the globe are counting down until the screening of the first episode of the fourth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, Dubrovnik citizens had the privilege to watch it two days earlier than the rest of the world.
At a special gala screening in one of the “King’s landing ” buildings, special guests watched the newest adventures of the Lannister and Stark families.
At the same time, in another part of Europe – Barcelona, Spanish lovers of the show attended a promotion of Croatian tourism. Visitors of the promotion, held as a part of the 22nd International Tourism Fair in Barcelona, had the opportunity to touch the Iron Throne used in the show. The ones with the most courage and boldness sat on the “powerful chair”, and got to take a picture. After the photographs, they received maps of various filming locations of the show throughout Dubrovnik and Split as a reward.
