An impressive ensemble cast led by Hollywood actors Goran Višnjić and Zrinka Cvitešić, along with Goran Grgić and Maro Martinović, has commenced rehearsals for this year’s premiere of “Equinox” by Ivo Vojnović. The Dubrovnik audience eagerly anticipates the performance, which will be uniquely staged by director Krešimir Dolenčić at the new festival location, Posat boatyard. The play is part of the program for the 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, running from July 27 to 31.
Goran Višnjić will portray Niko Marinović, Maro Martinović will take on the role of Vlaho Slijepi, and Goran Grgić will play Frano Dražić. Zrinka Cvitešić has been cast as Jela.
The production also features performances by Karlo Mrkša, Joško Ševo, Toni Kukuljica, Branimir Vidić, Lara Nekić, Olivera Baljak, Perica Martinović, Nika Lasić, and Maro Drobnić.
