The Dubrovnik Summer Festival grand closing Gala concert will traditionally be held by the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, in front of the Dubrovnik Cathedral, on August 25, starting 10:15 p.m. The Orchestra will be accompanied by the world’s leading baritone Željko Lučić and soprano Lana Kos, under the baton of maestro Ivo Lipanović.
The concert’s impressive program consists of some of the most beautiful numbers from popular operas composed by Ludwig van Beethoven, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, and Pietro Mascagni.
Following the Gala concert, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the Festival closing ceremony which will include members of this season’s Drama and Music Festival Ensembles.
The entire program will be broadcast live by Croatian Television on HRT 1 channel starting 10:15 p.m.
