Dubrovnik has achieved excellent tourist results in the first six months of this year, according to the E-Visitor, guest registration system. From 1 January to 30 June this year, 475,706 tourists stayed in Dubrovnik, which is eight percent more than during the same period last year.
There were 1,476,737 overnight stays, ie 6 percent more than last year. In the first six months, the largest number of tourists arrived from the United Kingdom, USA, Germany, France, Croatia, Finland, Spain, Austria, Australia and Sweden.
From 1 January to 30 June, most arrivals were realized in hotel facilities (289,338 arrivals), increased by 6 percent compared to the first five months of 2017. Private accommodation capacities also recorded much higher level of coverage (136,894 arrivals), 15 percent increase in arrivals compared to the same period last year. There were 874 765 overnight stays in hotel accommodation, four percent more than last year, and in private accommodation 450,703 stays or 12 percent more.
During this June, there were 175,830 arrivals or 6 percent more than in June 2017, and 574,171 overnight stays, which is 2 percent more than in 2017. Top tourists were from the UK, USA, Germany, France, Australia, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Sweden and Canada.
