Dubrovnik, as one of Croatian towns who constantly increases tourist traffic, has another record to be proud of – three million overnight stays from the beginning of the year to the first half of September.
The record is set 20 days earlier.
According to the program of the registration and deregistration of tourists, eVisitor, but also recorded tourist traffic in the marine system, Dubrovnik achieved record breaking result in all types of accommodation.
From January 1st to September 12th 2016, there were 819,585 arrivals or 10 percent more arrivals than in the same period last year.
Until September 12th, there were 3,007,058 overnight stays, including marine overnight stays, which is an increase of 12 percent compared to 2015.
In all types of accommodation to e – Visitor , realized A total of 2,811,820 overnight stays was realised in all types of accomodation, and charters and vessels had 195,238 overnight stays in total.
At the top of the list are tourists from Great Britain, France, USA, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Sweden, Italia, Australia and Finland.
