Although we are already used to seeing many prominent Hollywood faces walking down Stradun, seeing one Harrison Ford is beyond exciting. The legend of action film strolled around the City in the company of his wife, famous ‘Ally McBeal’ star, Calista Flockhart and their 20-year old son Liam. Our photographer Zvonimir Pandža encountered them enjoying a walk through our City walls, and the famous actor gladly took of his mask to pose for a photo beneath Minčeta fort.
Who is to imagine the famous actor recently celebrated his 79th birthday, considering his distinctly youthful demeanour, especially after injuring his shoulder in June during the UK shooting of the fifth sequel of the famous ‘obtainer of rare antiquities’ Indiana Jones.
Ford gained worldwide fame for his role as Han Solo in the Star Wars space saga, and for his forever role as the restless Indiana Jones. In over 60 years of successful career, he starred in numerous blockbusters, including Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049 and The Fugitive, and collaborated with all of the most respected and influential filmmakers of all time, such as George Lucas, Ridley Scott, Francis Ford Coppola, Mike Nichols, Steven Spielberg, Peter Weir and Roman Polanski.
