Following weeks of speculation it has been conformed that the VIP delegation from Japan set to visit Croatia in June will be led by Japanese Prince Akishino and his wife Princess Kiko. The royal couple will be visiting Croatia at the invitation of Croatian President, Ivo Josipovic.
The delegation will be touring Croatia from the 19th-23rd June and are expected to visit Konavle and Dubrovnik as the Japanese Ambassador to Croatia visited the region recently in preparation for the visit. The official visit coincides with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Croatia and Japan. The royal couple will attend a special concert to mark the event at Zagreb’s Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on the 20th June before heading to Dubrovnik on the 22nd.
